STARVE A MOSQUITO!   Donate Blood.

The Bill Gladstone Group of NAI CIR’s teamed with the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank (CPBB) for our third annual Blood Drive on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Ye Olde Ale House - 5002 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg.

Summer is the most difficult time of the year to maintain an adequate blood supply.  Thanks to the community, we were able to collect 21 pints from the 23 individuals and help CPBB reach thier goal of 85,000 pints of blood each year to meet the needs of area hospitals.

CPBB was incorporated in 1960 as a not-for-profit, community based blood program. The organization provides over 99% of the blood transfused in 14 mid-state hospitals.

Rick Sten from the Red 102.3, Channel 106.7, and The X 105.7 were at the blood drive all morning informing listeners about this great opportunity to help save lives.

There were plenty of free goodies and giveaways. Everyone in attendance was entered into a chance to win a $25 gas gift card, along with coupons to local restaurants.

Bill Gladstone also took the time to give blood...while talking on the phone and returning emails. (below)
