Marketing is Key There are a lot of competing properties on the market. Our goal is to get ours to surface to the top when an individual or company must satisfy a real estate need. There is no “best” avenue to pursue, rather “multiavenues” that can produce dramatic results if attended to on a consistent basis. Sometimes we rely on mailings to well targeted audiences using colored flyers, or oversized post cards. Perhaps it’s the cold calls targeting decision makers. Maybe it’s the classified ads in the daily or weekly papers. Sometimes we can draw more attention to your property if we get our group name in front of the public as the real estate “expert”. We’ve done this by being quoted in real estate articles, writing articles on selected topics, or by being featured in an article, all in an effort to help raise the awareness of the properties we handle. Additionally, we’ve done broadcast e-mails (in html format) and CDs (for certain properties). Our bi-monthly newsletter, our four color magazine (3 times per year) which features our properties along with our logoed T-shirts showcasing our web address (targeted to local and national brokers) and our billgladstone.com website (which averages 800+ people per week) all are designed to put your property in front of the right buyer or tenant. And don’t underestimate the sign that is often placed in front of your property announcing its availability. In order to get your property sold or leased, the customized marketing must take a sophisticated and focused path. This is much different than it was 10 years ago, but a necessity in an increasingly competitive market.
