Real Estate Client Relationships

Regardless of the many ways the Bill Gladstone Group strives to use cutting-edge technology, initiating and strengthening a relationship with each of our clients has always been the most important part of our business. The tools of the trade are important, but real estate is a service-based industry. The ability of our group to provide service to each client on an individual basis is the goal of each transaction, rather than the actual disposition or aquisition of property.

We used cutting-edge software and professional designers to create a resource-oriented website. Our broadcast emails use the latest technology to distribute property information to our client and customer base. Our presentations have evolved from PowerPoint to Flash to, most recently, video to be as informative and entertaining as possible. Each of those methods are probably above and beyond what is necessary, but being able to convey the information professionally is extremely important when maintaining relationships with our clientele.

On a more conventional note, we supply our clients with items that represent the Bill Gladstone Group. The t-shirts, sticky notes, and starting this August, the Bill Gladstone bobblehead dolls will all be part of the marketing program to help our clients remember us as their source for real estate information and transactions. When we take our customers on property tours, we provide snack boxes for them, and at settlements we provide cake and drinks.

We try to understand our clients not only on a professional basis, but also a personal basis. We strive to develop a level of confidence with clients so they can rely on us, but we also need to trust them in return. In an effort to continually strengthen that relationship, I spend a lot of time on the phone with clients and customers to review objectives and goals that will make things happen, which is how I see my job. It’s a lot of time and energy, but the goal is to make things happen very professionally. Once those goals are met, the transactions are better for everybody involved.

We cannot forget that a service-based business such as real estate relys on the relaionship rather than the transaction. Without the relationship, a client’s individual goas could not be realized or accomplished to his or her satisfaction. The Bill Gladstone Group strives for such a conclusion with every client, regardless of transaction size.
